- Berkshire Humane Society Summer Camp Registration Begins. The popular Children's Summer Program at The Berkshire Humane Society has started accepting registrations for the 2008 season. The program starts with third grade on July 7th, fourth grade on July 14th, fifth grade July 21st, sixth grade on July 28th and the new seventh grade week starts August 4th. Children attend Monday through Friday from 9am until 3pm. Tuition is $200 per child or $160 for BHS members and is not refundable. There are a limited number of reduced tuition scholarships available for those who can show a need. Space is limited to 20 students per week and 10 in the last session for seventh graders. Payment must be made in full at the time of registration to reserve a childís place.
